Om filmene

Japans wilder norden - bären, wale, riesenadler

The Shiretoko World Heritage Site is located on Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido. Here, brown bears hunt for salmon, giant sea eagles and fish eagles go on their forays, fin whales and hundreds of thousands of shearwaters congregate off the coast. The diversity of species only exists here because of the enormous masses of pack ice. But the ice is dwindling and this paradise in the north of Japan is increasingly under threat.

Wild Transylvania - Dracula's Hidden Kingdom

A blue chip special on the wildlife and wild places of one of the world’s most iconic locations – Transylvania; a mythical land beyond the forests hiding some of Europe’s last true wilderness regions. Its soaring Carpathian Mountains and vast ancient forests still provide sanctuary for some of Europe’s most charismatic animals - wolves, bears and lynx. In Transylvania history, folklore and nature create a very special blend of wild magic.
